Aleksandar Pantic

Aleks will tell you, "It all began when I first tried Malvira Barbera Superiore.  I was drinking the wine and thinking to myself; this wine is awesome. I want to sell this stuff."  So, what started as a love for a few select Italian wines quickly blossomed into a full scale importing and distributing business.  Like most entrepreneurs, when getting started Aleks threw everything he had into the business.  "It felt like I worked nonstop every single day.  I would wake up, get out on the street and sell some wine. I would do that until I had to go to my other job at the wine bar. It was a lot of work, but that's what starting a business is all about: Hard work, determination, and a love of what you do."  But don't think Aleks has slowed down a bit. "Its even busier now than it was then,"  he jokes.  "But I love this industry and there is very little that is better than drinking a fine glass of wine with friends and family."

Lukas Peters

Lukas began his introduction to wine when he was going through college.  "I got the best job for a college kid, working at the local liquor store," he said.  "I started out drinking beer and learning about wine to help our adult costumers.  After a while I got really into it, buying cases of wine with my friends so we could try all sorts of different types.  When I was promoted to manager I got to do the tasting and buying.  Not to long after that, I knew I wanted to make wine a career."  After graduating,  Lukas moved to Oregon and worked for Firesteed Winery for about 8 months.  "I worked as a cellar rat.  Washing tanks, transferring wine, moving barrels, it was all pretty unromantic, but I loved it.  It was the best learning experience I could have had."  But being out there wasn't all work though.  "Every weekend I was touring wineries.  I met a lot of great people and producers. It was a really cool time of my life."  Since starting with Domace Vino in early 2007 Lukas has had the opportunity to go to Oregon Pinot Camp and Vin Italy .  He looks forward to a long career in the wine industry and is also excited to welcome a new member into his family.  "We just found out my wife is pregnant and is due in July 2010.  I hope  Piedmont has a historic year so I can save a few bottles of Barolo and Barbaresco to share with my kid on their 21st birthday!"

Ethan Gilmore

Ethan Gilmore is what people commonly refer to as "a character."  If you have every crossed paths with a man wearing a skin tight leotard with a jet black handlebar mustache, it may have been Ethan.  However, all fashion issues aside, Ethan has a great palette and an immense amount of wine knowledge. He loves to party with friends, and if you ever end up back at his house after a night on the town, the fun doesn't stop there. He's been known to open up wines from his " secret stash" to share with the group. Such wines as Fontodi Flaccianello 97 have disappeared at three in the morning! If you meet Ethan on the street don't be intimidated.  As one of our accounts put it, "He looks a bit rough around the edges, but he's really just a big ol' teddy bear."  That's our Ethan, just a big teddy bear!

Kevin Patrick Harrington

Kevin is a motivated and dedicated person.  He loves enjoying good wine and food, and playing golf with family and friends.  He's been working in restaurants since he was 13 and over the last 6 years has developed an impressing reservoir for wine knowledge.  He's been part of the Domace Vino team for over two years and we look forward to having him around for a long time.

Megan Wicker

Megan is our favorite (and only) part time employee.  After meeting at several wine tasting events, Megan was a perfect candidate for our team.  She's smart, witty, and has a deep affinity for good wine.  She works at an ad agency full time, and spends her free time selling wine for Domace Vino.  She'll tell you she only does it for the sample bottles, but we know she actually likes us too!
